Sekitla Secondary School: Mathibestad

Katlo Development Centre along with The Department of Social Development at the Moretele Service point, Religious Leaders, and various stakeholders visited Sekitla Secondary School in an effort to assist in addressing the challenges of Substance Abuse and all the related consequences, such as mental health issues that may surface as a result of Substance Abuse.

As a collective, we helped to identify and assess the fundamental issues that lead young people, especially learners, to substance abuse. As Katlo Development Centre, we are committed to rendering all the support that the learners need.

To help give a clearer perspective on how dangerous substance abuse is, a recovering drug addict was afforded an opportunity to talk about their experience and the negative health impacts of substance abuse
