LGBTQIA+ Fun Walk

Human Rights Day is commonly celebrated on the 21st of March every year in the South African calendar.

On Tuesday, March 21; 2023, Katlo Development Centre celebrated Human Rights Day differently as compared to other years. We celebrated Human Rights Day by firstly acknowledging that all Human-beings have rights, and that is why we are recognizing the rights of the members of the LGBTQIA+ by participating in a fun walk.

As Katlo Development Centre we know and understand that all human beings have a right to be. That is why we have aligned ourselves, as an organization, with this year’s Human Rights Days theme which outlines what we stand for, and that is, We are leaving no one behind as we embrace and acknowledge the Rights of the member of the LGBTQIA+ community.

Regardless of the colour of one’s skin, religious affiliation, creed, or sexual orientation, every human being has got a right to be!
