Isaac Mokoena Primary School

On the 12th of October 2022, Isaac Mokoena Primary School In Mothutlong opened up its doors and welcomed us as one of their guests for the day.

On this particular day, Katlo Development Centre joined forces with The Teachers from Isaac Mokoena Primary School, The National Department of Social Development as well as the Ward Counsellor, to come and have a Dialogue with the male learners from the school.

Our mandate for the day was to educate the young male learners more about their Rights, as well as to shed light and give further information pertaining to their Roles and Responsibilities in their School environment, as well as in their Communities.

Through a “Dialogue Session/Engagement” the learners were also afforded an opportunity to share their knowledge and experience about the different types of Abuse, Rights & Responsibilities, Sexual Orientation as well as Sexual Orientation and Harassment.
