Moretele Mens Forum Launch
On the 26th of October 2022, Moretele Men’s Forum was launched in Seutelong, which falls under the Moretele District Municipality; in the North-west Province. As always, Katlo Development Centre was also part of the launch.
Among other key role players at the launch were: The Faith Based Organisations, Traditional Leaders, Legal Aid S.A, Bedwang SAPS & CPF, Department of Health, The Tribal Council, as well as the Local NPOs and NGOs.
Through the involvement and active participation of Men, the Forum aims to fight against Domestic Violence and HIV/AIDS, as well as to ensure that Men become the agents of positive and meaningful change in their homes and communities, as men are encouraged to protect and care for their women and children.
The Men Championing Change (M.C.C) Social Behavioural Change (S.B.C)Programmes will play a significant role in ensuring that the objectives of the Forum are achieved. Male Domestic Violence victims will therefore be reached out to, through this Forum.
