World T.B Day In Rustenburg

Each year on the 24th of March South Africa and the world recognises and observe World T.B Day.

On Friday March 24, 2023 we travelled to Tlhabane in Rustenburg, in the Northwest Province, with the sole purpose of investing our time and efforts in educating the public about the impact of T.B. People need to know that T.B is preventable, manageable and curable. Even though many have lost their lives to this disease, we can still work together to prevent the spread of T.B by going for regular check-ups and taking our medication if we discover that we are infected by T.B

The Deputy President of the Republic of South Africa was there to give a keynote address in relation to the management and treatment of this disease. We will continue reaching out to our communities to teach them and to make available our services to them, in an effort to build a health and harmonious environment for our people.
